Plan before you travel :

1. Ensure that you have relevant medications / vaccinations
2. Ensure you or any of your party has valid visa if necessary / have completed ESTA if travelling to North America and that you have at least 6 months validity remaining in your passport.
3. Ensure that you and everyone your party all have EHIC-European insurance Cards, which all the main points are correct, which the world you're traveling to is on the safe list on the Foreign Commonwealth web site. This may be done on through www.gov.uk
4. Ensure you have booked taxis to, and from the airport – or booked your car parking at the airport.
5. Ensure you have foreign exchange: traveler’s cheques and currency.
6. Possibly obtain a guide book concerning the world you're visiting.
7. Make relevant copies of your travel documents, including passports, driving licences, visa, insurance policies and ensure the copies are kept with a relative or close friend.
8. Leave your house keys and phone details abroad with a relative or shut friend.
9. If you have got a house alarm, guarantee a sure neighbor has the main points for the alarm company if necessary.
